In manufacturing, senior management has a metrics dashboard that summarizes and charts various results on a weekly basis using XL. Such categories as deviations, failures, installs, QC passes, costs, frequencies, etc. Would you validate this spreadsheet, or does it fall outside of manufacturing validations?

What does your validation master plan say? 
Seriously, such decisions SHOULD be guided by a) your VMP; and b) a (documented) risk assessment.
On the surface, it sounds like this would not have any bearing on product risk and I would lean towards not validating. But you shouldn’t accept that. Look at all the features, determine if failure could have an impact on product quality, and then decide if / how much validation is necessary.
