We want to use Gypsum Board as a false sealing material inside Production area (Pharmaceuticals Class-D). My question is their any guideline according to GMP or ISO about gypsum board in production area?
Gypsum boards are traditionally used for ceilings and it used all over globe.
Normally guidelines give us to have smooth finishes in Manufacturing areas.
It is understood as :Vinyl coated gypsum panels in ceiling grid.
Simple ceilings may be painted over structural concrete, painted or vinyl covered gypsum plaster. Lay-in ceilings may use vinyl covered tiles, GRP panels, or stove enamelled steel panels.
Most of industry uses Gypsum board with: Epoxy coating or Polyester coating or Seamless PVC coating.
