Unknown peak in CV sample

pls suggest what to do if unknown peak are observed in CV samples.

I think First you check that yours testing method is validated or not, then if your method is validated then run swab as a blank, check also diluent and your cleaning agent.

We are not using any cleaning agent. medium of cleaning is water only.
our method is validated.
blank/diluet/blank swab is run along with sample.

Pl. wash your column and flow pipe line, saturate it. This is interpretation of some extract remain
Or
Your sample for CV may be contaminated.
