why rubber stoppers which are used for stoppering the vials are treated with silicon emulsion and what is the method for trace analysis of silicon & its limit.

i believe that silicone is used to help their movement in stopper bowls. We send them to West pharmaceutical services for testing and don’t have a specification other than the level detected increases post processing.
