We just got a virtual server and we have our IQ done but in all the paperwork it doesn’t seem to have an OQ when it was installed, so what basics steps should I take to create an proper OQ for these virtual server.

It depends on your software/server. The IQ demonstrates that the server is able do the job and accept the software (size of RAM, memory…). The OQ could be a checklist that the server accepted the software and configured properly. Finally, the PQ is a demonstration that the software/server combination can meet the acceptance criteria of the drug product (lot number, lot size, warehousing, quality…).
