our product has 3.0% lod (specification limit of LOD is 5.0%w/w).before cheking the MR , any necessacity to dry the sample.( i mean with 3% LOD content sample or  dried sample).please give sujjetion.

Dear Vasu
MR is done with drying, for the materials which have high moisture, It should be specified in the monograph.

Dear srinivas DRIED SAMPLE SHOULD BE TAKEN FOR MELTING RANGE UNLESS IT IS ESTABLISHED ITS FORM DOES NOT CHANGE
