Interpretation of microbial result in swab test for cleaning validation

all,

need your help on interpretation of micro swab in cleaning validation.
testing steps is regulated as follow:

• Sterilized swab stick was weeted with NaCl 0.9%
• swab the stick to equipment surface with help of swab template
• put the stick into tube that filled with 10 mL of NaCl 0.9% than stirr
• extract 1 mL of solution in to TSA media and incubate at 30 - 35 degree

te question is should the result is multiply by ten (10) or not.

Yes of course.

If the result is negative, the result should be <10 CFU/Surface area in cm2.
