Incubation of BI's

Just wondering what is the inductry standard on the time limit before Bacillus stearothermophilus BI’s must be processed and incubated foling the end of the sterilization cycle? I have heard of some companies using 4 hours from cycle end and others 4 hours from when the autoclave door is opened.

Place the BIs in the growth media no more than 8 hours after removal from the sterilization chamber or removal from the sterilized load of devices. Incubate all of the BIs for a minimum of 7 days.”
