We just recently purchased a copy of MiniTab 16. Before we can use it for actual statistical analysis, we’ve been instructed to validate it. I am looking for ideas on how to go about validating MiniTab16. Thanks in advance.
As far as I know, MiniTab has a built in validation functionality. This is a cots software. You have to show that the application is installed properly (what you do running implicitly) the validation functionality. The software uses standardized data with the respective results and compares the given with the calculated results.
I did it once and you got a hughe archive full of statistics and results which might keep an ispector busy for half a day to go through and to understand it.
