Difference between moisture analyzer and karl Fischer

one month ago, I qualified a Karl fischer ( colometric and volumetric ) and now I’m going to qualify a moisture analyzer . When i read the moisture analyzer Documents i found that this instrument do something like Karl fischer, Is it correct? is there anyone to help me about differences between of these?

No, Both are different.

The technology and chemistry involved in KF is different from moisture analyser.

Moisture analyser works as a heater that can evaporate the solvents including water. so that we can qunatify the loss of vapourisable solvents. which is simply a loss on drying technique.

Hi everyone
Thanks for your response to my question.I’m agree with your definition of moisture analyzer, but I think the karl fischer have the same mechanism, actually the standards that i used for karl fischer contained water. anyway why should i use moisture analyzer against karl fischer and vise versa??
