What is the criterion to qualify directory services (Active Directory used for user authentication and providing DHCP) and Email Server (MS Exchange)?
What do you mean by qualify?
Is it part of a validation project?
The servers are already qualified, I want to know if Active Directory and Exchange server need any Validation or Qualification activity
I dont know anything about the system you are using but for example if the system sends emails to users after certain events then I would test operationally that the emails are been sent properly, as far as validating the active directory, I myself have not been involved in such a task, but thats not to say that it cant be qualified.
I would assume that if you test that the correct emails are being sent then that should suffice.
Maybe others have different experiences.
