Impact assesment should be initiated and also it is advisable to catergorize the change control in Major, Minor or critical aspects.

Hi,

If you have a practice of classification of Change controls, it will help in the level of impact assessment So its better to have a classification.

If you classify them as minor , major and critical , it is better to understand whether the change made is how much potential to affect your process, product, and output in a critical quality attributes.
