Turbulent and laminar flow

1What is the difference between turbulent and laminar flow?
2. what type of flows are maintained in different classes of room. and why ?

Thanks

  1. laminar flow means unidirectional flow. which a parallel flow. turbulent means not parallel to each other. turbulent flow ll be observed when air got diluted becoz of increased no. particles, no perforated tabletop under the air flow and increased movement of men and process equipment and not following the clean room parameters etc…
  2. unidirectional flow ll be maintained in grade A and non uni or mixed type in other grades.

Actually there is little difference between parallel flow and unidirectional flow. In parallel flow (what we generally mean laminar flow) stream line of fluid is parallel and they do not cross each other but in unidirectional flow, stream line may need not to be parallel. They have the same direction and also they can not cross each other.

The major difference between Laminar flow and Turbulent flow is mixing property. Mixing is absent in Laminar flow.

which flow is maintained in class100000?
