Rusted compressed air pipelines

I have a problem that our compressed air pipelines (oil free compressor) are made of steel which is injected by water to test the leakage by the contractor during installation which leads to lot of rust after just 2 years of commissioning.collector drains are installed to get ride of all moisture

At point of use 0.2 micron filters installed & give good results in annual qualification (oil, water, particulate)
after microbial filters installation by 6 months we noticed rust on the filters body.

Now we are deciding to change the whole pipelines into polypropylene to avoid corrosion problem

is this a wise decision? is there any possible treatment for?

is polypropylene pipelines acceptable in GMP (nonsterile solids & liquids)?
