I have a reference standard of 20g with me. I have use this reference standard for this year, as this is having one year expiry date. How could i do that? Is there any systematic procedure do that?

Hi,
For every validity of a material , there needs a stability study.
I hope, you may have the related stability data which states the material is stable for that.
Unless and until you do not have any stability data, the material is not authorised to use over an year.

I have that. But my question is how the material to be kept away from contamination. Any useful method to do that.
Hi, you can keep it in well closed glass container in desiccator.
amber color glass container is preferred.
Storage condition is also important. Store sample in refregerator or freezer as per product stability.
