Purified water inline TOC testing vs offline testing

Hello,

We have a purified water system equipped with inline TOC measurement at the return of each distribution loop. We also collect samples for external TOC testing from each test port / point of use every month.
Recently the TOC external equipment malfuncioned and remained out-of-service for 2 months.
Is it viable to eliminate the external TOC testing and rely only in the inline measurement?

Hi, you can base only in inline meters if they are calibrated and qualificated.

you can use chemical test Oxidisable Substances as described in Ph.Eur. as an alternative test for TOC.
