we are in the process of aquiring a new sterile powder filling equipment and these are two questions came up with respect to two of its components:
- Hylem Fabric (material used in a gear wheel inside the powder hopper used in stirring. Theoretically doesnot come into contact with the powder but it is sterilized with the hopper.
- Food Grade Nylon (used as a filter which the compressed air blows the product into the vial on each piston.
Do you have any experience whether these materials are GMP conforming and can be used in pharmaceutical production-filling of vials?
