in the raw water supply we have Pseudomonas, the unit manufacturer proposed Ozone disinfection in the pre-treatment before the RO,
how efficient is Ozone and how safe is it.

Using ozone may not be a good option. that too in raw water you need not worry about the presence of microbes. ozone is not a stable disinfectant we can only use it in the final step of purification just to maintain the purity of the product. ozone will dis integrate when it comes into contact with uv light. instead u can go for chlorination of the raw water which is a very effective and cheap procedure
