The method validation is the process method validation which you are qualifying.
e.g The equipment cleaning process is the method of cleaning which is validated . It is called as cleaning method validation. In this case the method of cleaning is validated. The analytical method used for the validation of the cleaning shall also be validated which is the analytical method validation ( Analytical Method validation for the estimation of residue).
