In air Flow Pattern test we are using Titenium tetrachloride as smoke

  1. In air Flow Pattern test we are using Titanium tetrachloride as smoke generating agent. Is this chemical is still acceptable as per regulatory in Parenteral plant.
  2. Is CIP and SIP is required after PAO and Titanium tetrachloride use.

Awaiting for your valuable reply.

now a days for smoke test dry ice is used which does not have any toxic effects(solid co2)

water based gycerine too can be used by connecting to a smoke generator as glyserine is mised with water, since glycerine is a pharmaceutical material its safe to use
