Does anyone have any ideas on correlating hot plate temperature to steam jacketed kettle temperature? What I am looking for is say you heat a liquid in a 4L container on a hot plate to X temperature is there a correlation of Y temperature for liquid in a 300-4000 gallon steam jacketed kettle? Or is there no correlation and the temperature of the liquid no matter what volume is still X temperature and not Y temperature?
