I am updating our calibration department’s SOPs and would like some input.
Much of the information I have come across for GMP environments indicate that it is acceptable to perform qualitative or functional operational checks of non-critical devices on a periodic basis rather than quantitative or actual calibrations every time.
Any comments on whether this is in fact a common practice or not in the industry?
