When DQ is require, is it require before purchse order???
if we follow the cGMP validation plan, its better if we can get the DQ /FDS before we purchase order.
Yes, yes and yes before you sign any agreements make sure all of your requirements have been satisfied in a FS/DS or FDS.

Dear All,
Looking at the industrial practice, nobody provides Design Qualification unless he is assured of purchase of equipment by client. This is logically correct too as DQ contents all structural and functional details about equipment. Nobody wish to reveal the design secretes of their equipment without gaurrented gain. Hence manufacturer in general does not prefer to provide DQ before purchase order. Possibly situation can be made comfortable by providing at least Letter of Intent instead of purchase order. After finalizing all details related to design of equipment, purchase order can be released. Otherwise the last option is to issue purchase order based on technical quote submitted by vendor & modify it as per requirement with addendum to purchase order.
