Difference b/w GMP & C-GMP

Hi All,

cud anybody tell me the basic diffrence between GMP & C-GMP .As i have came across with this every now & then but nobody clarified the basic difference or changes which separates the both?

Dear Attam

There is no difference. the ‘c’ stands for current, so that whenever the law is added to or ammended, it becomes the current GMP, but no major changes have taken place since it’s inception.

There is no difference between GMP & cGMP. C stands for current, it means whatever new guideline is added should be followed and c is always written in small letter due to if any small change is added that should be implemented.

Please have a look in FDA site and then come to a conclusion. You need to understand why and when this terminology was introduced.
