Cleaning of Metal Instruments

Hi All,

Can someone help me with the following question:

I was wondering if you know of any way of verifying cleaning of metal instruments post manual washing and before sterilization? Is there a standard that can be used for reference? Would a bioburden test suffice?

Dear Gokeefee,

Bioburden and Surface swab is enough.Anyway , sterilization is performed after post cleaning activity.
