Can somebody lay down the sequence of calibration prior, during and after validation.

During the validation if the equipment is not calibrated you should do it. and if it is attached proper documentation that the unit is calibrated and verify it. The calibration interval depends on the instrument, the environmental conditions, the use, and prior calibration information. For some equipments it starts on six month and if it performs ok for two-three periods it can be extended to a year. There are also calibration assesment forms that you can use to determine the calibration interval.
all the measuring and testing Instruments should be calibrated before any equipment qualification/validation. and it should be attached in your qualification documents at 1st.
Equipment validation is first, followed by calibration(performace qualiification)
